In short
Good for
- Solo walkers who want room for a meal and a brew, or a pot shared by two for simple meals
- Fitting a 250 g gas canister and a small stove inside, or the 700 ml Trek pot (Snow Peak)
- Frying a small egg or similar in the lid
Strengths
- 175 g for 0.9 L with a fry-pan lid, 194 g per litre
- Titanium, so there is no coating to wear off
- Lid doubles as a small fry pan (Snow Peak; Sam Cheong)
- Boils almost a litre of water quickly (Backpacking and Beer)
- Nests inside the Trek 1400 pot (Snow Peak)
Weaknesses
- The pot handle is short and gets very hot; Backpacking and Beer burned his hand when the pot tipped
- The lid doesn't snap on and rattles in the loose mesh bag, and soot comes through the mesh (Backpacking and Beer)
- The fry-pan lid is small (12.8 cm across), so it only suits light frying (Sam Cheong)
