Our ratings (out of 10)
1 to 10, compared with the whole market. Each says what it's based on. How we score
Weight
From maker's figures 6/10How much it adds to your pack. This is the whole tent: two people sharing can split it. 6: A bit better than average.
Decathlon's parts list gives flysheet 550 g + bedroom 660 g + pole kit 500 g = 1,710 g, in the 1.5–1.99 kg band. Its headline 1.95 kg also includes 12 pegs (120 g), guylines, bags and a repair kit and is in the same band.
Rain protection
From maker's figures 7/10How well it keeps out heavy, long rain. 7: Better than most.
Flysheet over 2,000 mm is the 2,000–2,999 mm band (banded at 2,000 mm); the floor is over 3,000 mm, so no point is taken off.
Wind
Estimate: only 1 review about wind (fewer than the 3 we need, so never above 8) 8/10How steady it stays in strong wind on open ground. 8: Clearly better than most.
T3 judges the low profile suitable for high winds, but does not describe a strong-wind test. No additional independently verified wind evidence for this exact version was established.
Space
From maker's figures 5/10Room to lie, sit up and keep kit inside. 5: Does the job. Average for wild-camping gear.
Decathlon gives a 210 cm bedroom, 125 cm wide at the head and 105 cm at the feet: 210 x 115 (average width) = about 2.42 m², or 1.21 m² each for two, in the 1.15–1.34 band. Countryfile finds it snug for two; T3 finds it comfortable side by side.
Packed size
From maker's figures 8/10How much room it takes in your rucksack. 8: Clearly better than most.
Decathlon states a 5.3 L bag (39 x 12 x 12 cm), in the 4–6.9 L band.

In short
Good for
- One walker who wants room, or two light walkers who do not mind snug: it is a freestanding dome
- Trips on rock or hard ground, where a tent that stands without pegs helps
- Walkers who want a lower-impact tent: the fabric is undyed, so Decathlon cut dye pollution and CO2
Strengths
- Freestanding double-wall dome, 1.71 kg in its parts and 1.95 kg with pegs and bags
- Packs to 5.3 L (39 x 12 x 12 cm)
- Two doors, two porches that fit a pack of up to 70 L each, and four pockets
- Fly over 2,000 mm and floor over 3,000 mm, with heat-taped seams; T3 stayed dry in heavy rain
- Colour-coded poles and straps (T3); the bedroom can be used alone as a mesh shelter on warm nights
- Decathlon sells spare parts, and the page lists a 2-year warranty
Weaknesses
- Snug for two (1.21 m² each, narrowing to 105 cm at the feet); Countryfile calls it a big one-person tent
- Thin floor and light fabrics: use a footprint (Decathlon sells one, 270 g) and avoid rocky ground
- Several Decathlon buyers report tears, holes and broken poles; no independent review covers a long period of use
- White fabric is very bright at dawn, shows dirt and stands out for wild camping
- Decathlon says the ultralight fabrics should not be left in strong sun
- Wind and durability are estimates, not reviewed scores: no independent review tests it in strong wind or over a long period
