Our ratings (out of 10)
1 to 10, compared with the whole market. Each says what it's based on. How we score
Warmth
Estimate from maker's specs: insulated glove 7/10How warm they keep your hands at camp and on the move. 7: Better than most.

Weight

Waterproofing
From maker's figures 4/10How well they keep your hands dry and the wind out, from how they are made. 4: A bit below average.
The name and the Millets and Blacks copy say waterproof ('Fully waterproof'), but no page names a membrane maker or describes a sealed waterproof insert; GO's copy only says microfibre with a Thinsulate lining. The method scores a 'waterproof' glove with no sealed insert and no named membrane at 2, the same call as the OEX Summit Waterproof Gloves. It would be the 4 band if Peter Storm said the insert is sealed.
In short
Good for
- Wet, cold everyday walks and dog walking
- A budget waterproof glove for short days out on lower ground
Strengths
- Sold as waterproof, with a Thinsulate lining
- Palm grip, adjustable wrist strap and a pairing clip (Millets' and Blacks' copy); elasticated cuffs
Weaknesses
- No membrane named and no statement that the insert is sealed, so waterproofing scores 4
- No weight published, so no weight score
- The Thinsulate amount isn't stated, so warmth can't be compared on numbers
- No independent review found, so warmth, dexterity and durability scores are blank
- The Millets and Blacks copy has an error (it calls the glove 'winter mittens for kids'); GO's copy doesn't
