In short

Good for

  • A very cheap, very light top-mount stove for a pocket or a backup kit
  • Summer and sheltered pitches where you boil small pots
  • Walkers who already carry Coleman Xtreme or Performance cartridges

Strengths

  • 102 g with a carry pouch
  • 3,200 W output; Coleman gives 3 min 35 s to boil in still air and about 60 minutes of burn on a C300 cartridge
  • Folding pan supports and a wind block around the burner (Coleman)

Weaknesses

  • No independent review found, so wind and control are estimates, not reviewed scores
  • Coleman's own figures show the boil time more than doubling in a 3 m/s wind (about 11 km/h): 3 min 35 s becomes 8 min
  • No built-in igniter: Coleman lists manual ignition
  • Coleman gives no folded size and no water amount for its boil times
  • Top-mounted on the cartridge, so it loses power in the cold and we do not mark it winter-ready
