In short
Good for
- Walkers who want a folding pole with a cork grip
- Packing small: 40 cm folded fits a daypack
- Walkers who know their pole length and do not need to adjust it
Strengths
- 400 g for the pair in the 120 cm size (Black Diamond)
- Folds to 40 cm and deploys in seconds, with no levers to set
- Cork grip with an EVA extension below it (Black Diamond)
- Snow baskets included (Black Diamond)
Weaknesses
- No third independent test found: lock, grip and durability scores are blank
- Fixed length, so it cannot be shortened for steep ground or set to a height for a tent
- Carbon shafts break more easily under side loads than aluminium
